Oando Acquires Oil Block In Angola

Oando Plc  Favour Ifeoluwa & Akinola Ajibade  Oando Plc  says it has completed and won the bid for the operatorship of oil block KON 13 in Angola. The firm which recently acquired Eni of Italy’s oil assets in Nigeria, said that the award of the oil block located in Angola’s onshore Kwanza Basin followed a competitive bidding process by the country’s oil and gas sector regulator. It further said hat the asset in which it owns 45 per cent participating interest, has estimated prospective resources of 770 to 1,100 million barrels of oil. Woman kills her baby because of night party

An unidentified nursing mother has  been arrested for allegedly killing her baby in order to club with friends in Cameroon. 
News Mirror findings reveal that the woman alledgdly gave his son tramadol, with a view to enable him to sleep and further go clubbing.
The incident, News Mirror, further said, reportedly happened last night in Likomba, Tiko, South-West region of Cameroon.
According to reports, the young mother who wanted to go have some night’s fun with her friends decided to give her few months old baby tramadol.
She locked him alone in the house and went out to the club with her friends but returned the next morning to find the lifeless body of her infant.
She has been arrested by the police after residents mobbed her over the death of the baby.
The caption which accompanied the suspect and her baby’s lifeless body reads: “This lady you see here committed an abomination last night in Likomba, Tiko. Despite having a newborn baby of a few months old in hand, she wanted to go clubbing with friends.
“The innocent child was the only thing standing in her way as she couldn’t take him to the club. So what did this girl do?
“She decided to give him tramadol so he can fall deep asleep. This way she can go party with her friends.
“She gave her the tramadol and locked the baby inside the house. She returned home this morning only to find out the baby died as a result of the hard drugs she gave him.
“Likomba inhabitants descended on her and got her well beaten. Forces of law and order intervened and as of now, the girl is in detention. The baby has been buried. May the soul of the innocent baby rest in peace.”

Axella Plans To Deepen Gas Utilisation in Nigeria

Axella' s Director of Business Development, Mr Franklin Imole By Favour  Ifeoluwa & Akinola Ajibade Axella's Gas Processing Plant announces Final Investment Decision ( FID) to develop a 50 MMASCF/D Gas Processing Plant, with h a view to deepen utilisation of gas  in the country. The firm, which is situated  in 0ML 56 in Delta State,  said that its making strategic investment in order to ensure that gas is available for industrial use in Nigeria.
