Oando Acquires Oil Block In Angola

Oando Plc  Favour Ifeoluwa & Akinola Ajibade  Oando Plc  says it has completed and won the bid for the operatorship of oil block KON 13 in Angola. The firm which recently acquired Eni of Italy’s oil assets in Nigeria, said that the award of the oil block located in Angola’s onshore Kwanza Basin followed a competitive bidding process by the country’s oil and gas sector regulator. It further said hat the asset in which it owns 45 per cent participating interest, has estimated prospective resources of 770 to 1,100 million barrels of oil. Dogs have mauled  a former Zambian footballer Philemon Mulala, in his Luchtenburg home in the North West region of South Africa.

Mulala, according to reports, was mauled to death by his three dogs on Saturday afternoon.

A midfielder in his days, Mulala was said to have suffered serious attacks from  his  dogs, a developing, which he  could not recover from them.

Zambia National Football Association, in a statement, said that the "60-year-old retired footballer was  killed by his dogs at his Lichtenburg home in the North West on Saturday afternoon.”

"Mulala was notably part of the 1984 Zambian squad that won the East and Central Africa Challenge cup under coach Col Brightwell Banda, the association added. 

The association further said that Mulala  featured played a major role in the 1984 Zambian squad which won the East and Central Africa Challenge Cup under coach Col Brightwell Banda.,

Also,  FAZ's General Secretary Adrian Kashala said the football fraternity had lost a gallant soldier. FAZ is a football club.

“We remain with wonderful memories that the late Philemon honoured us with on the pitch. There is a lot that today’s players can learn from the deceased’s generation,” Kashala said.

Police spokesperson ,Capt Sam Tselanyane said that Mulala was the victim of the dog attack..
