Fed Govt Slightly Reverse The Price of PMS

Queue at the filing station  The President,  Petroleum Products Retailers Owners of Nigeria( PETROAN), Dr Billy Gills Harry, says the reduction of the product, by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited( NNPCL) is good for the nation'struggling economy, as it would help in soften the difficult situations posed by the sharp rise in the price of petroleum products. While reacting to the issue through a statement issued and signed to the NEWSMIRROR yesterday, Harry said that the slight reversal of the price by NNPCL shows that the government is committed to the alleviation of the problems of the masses. According to him, the reduction in the price per litre of Petrol Motoring Spirit( PMS) from N1,020 per litre to N899 per litre is good, adding that the country will soon get over its problem, if the readjustment of the economy continues. Two Drown In Ogun As CP Commiserate With The Victims'Families

Two people have been confirmed drown in a river tide in Itori area of Ogun State.

 are Mr Femi Akinola 32 years and Tunde Fatade((35 years).While Akinola lived in Itire, Fatade was living in Kola, Alagbado Area of Lagos state.

Though they were rescued. However, they died later at Itori medical centre, according to the confirmation of the doctor on duty.

The Divisional Police Officer in the area,  DSP) , Olayemi Jacob detailed his team to visit the area upon receipt of the report. He ascertained there was no mark of violence or foul play relating to the deceased. 

However, their remains have been deposited at IFO General Hospital for autopsy report and later deposited in the morgue. 

A member of Cherubim and Seraphim Church Onikoko via Itori, Adebayo Adeosun who reported at the police station said seven people came to Ogun for inauguration, left the church premises to swim, and got drowned in the process.

Commenting on the issue, the  Commissioner of Police Ogun State Police Command, sympathised with the families of the victims, assuring the Command remains committed to promoting public safety and preventing such tragedies in the future. He however warned restive youths to steer clear of Rivers whose depth or tides they cannot ascertain.

Axella Plans To Deepen Gas Utilisation in Nigeria

Axella' s Director of Business Development, Mr Franklin Imole By Favour  Ifeoluwa & Akinola Ajibade Axella's Gas Processing Plant announces Final Investment Decision ( FID) to develop a 50 MMASCF/D Gas Processing Plant, with h a view to deepen utilisation of gas  in the country. The firm, which is situated  in 0ML 56 in Delta State,  said that its making strategic investment in order to ensure that gas is available for industrial use in Nigeria.
