Oando Acquires Oil Block In Angola

Oando Plc  Favour Ifeoluwa & Akinola Ajibade  Oando Plc  says it has completed and won the bid for the operatorship of oil block KON 13 in Angola. The firm which recently acquired Eni of Italy’s oil assets in Nigeria, said that the award of the oil block located in Angola’s onshore Kwanza Basin followed a competitive bidding process by the country’s oil and gas sector regulator. It further said hat the asset in which it owns 45 per cent participating interest, has estimated prospective resources of 770 to 1,100 million barrels of oil. Prince Bola Ajibola, ex- Minister of Justice is dead

Nigeria, yesterday(Sunday) lost one of its legal luminaries to cold bands of death. He is Prince Bola Ajibola, a former Attorney General of the Federation. 

Ajibola, a former Judge of the International Court of Justice died in Lagos, after he was rushed from Abeokuta, Ogun state capital. 

The Owu Prince and former High Commissioner of Nigeria to the United Kingdom was 89 years few weeks ago. 

A Nigerian jurist, Ajibola  was Attorney General and the Minister of Justice of Nigeria from 1985 to 1991 and a Judge of the International Court of Justice from 1991 to 1994.

He was president of the Nigerian Bar Association from 1984 to 1985. He was also one of five commissioners on the Eritrea-Ethiopia Boundary Commission, organized through the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
