Oando Acquires Oil Block In Angola

Oando Plc  Favour Ifeoluwa & Akinola Ajibade  Oando Plc  says it has completed and won the bid for the operatorship of oil block KON 13 in Angola. The firm which recently acquired Eni of Italy’s oil assets in Nigeria, said that the award of the oil block located in Angola’s onshore Kwanza Basin followed a competitive bidding process by the country’s oil and gas sector regulator. It further said hat the asset in which it owns 45 per cent participating interest, has estimated prospective resources of 770 to 1,100 million barrels of oil. Abiru Celebrates GAC Member, Edun On His Birthday

The Senator representing Lagos East, Chief Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, has congratulated Mr Olawale Edun, on his birthday. 
Edun is a member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) of All Progressive Congress 
 (APC). 
In a statement issued by Abiru’s media aide, Mr. Enitan Olukotun and made available to News Mirror, Edun who doubles as the 
Chairman, ChapelHillDenham Group, was described as a trusted confidant and thoroughbred professional with global footprint.
According to Abiru, Edun's sterling achievements in investment banking and public finance sector are noteworthy, adding that the experience  garnered in the two sectors played a pivotal role in the public finance engineering of Lagos  when Edun was appointed commissioner of Finance in the state. 
He said: “ On behalf of my family and good people of Lagos East Senatorial District, I heartily congratulate my amiable confidant, mentor and respected elder colleague, Mr Olawale Edun, on his birthday.
“ Egbon, today, I celebrate your  accomplishments as a highly successful finance professional and also acknowledge your outstanding contributions to our dear state and by extension, Nigeria at large. IGP to Nigerians: Deface new notes and face prosecution
