Fed Govt Slightly Reverse The Price of PMS

While reacting to the issue through a statement issued and signed to the NEWSMIRROR yesterday, Harry said that the slight reversal of the price by NNPCL shows that the government is committed to the alleviation of the problems of the masses. According to him, the reduction in the price per litre of Petrol Motoring Spirit( PMS) from N1,020 per litre to N899 per litre is good, adding that the country will soon get over its problem, if the readjustment of the economy continues. 'Two security operatives arrested for raping'

Two vigilantes were cooling down their feet in police custody for raping an house wife in Ganjuwa Local Government Area, Bauchi State recently.

They are Lawali Sule, aged 30; and Babangida Shehu, aged 30 respectively.

According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Supretendent Ahmed Wakali, the two local security operatives were arrested, after storming  the house of One Alhaji Gare armed with Dane-Gun and broke into his wife bedroom, one Hadiza Alhaji( not real name) and asked for the whereabout of her husband. 

Unfortunately, her husband was not at home, a development, which strengthening their resolve to rape the woman.

Wakili said: “On 25th August, 2022, at about 0200hours the two suspects conspired among themselves and stormed the house of one Alhaji Gare, all armed with Dane-gun broke into his wife’s room one Hadiza Alhaji (not real name) and asked her husband we’re about, but he was not at home.

He added: “Thereafter they threatened her with a gun with the view to have canal knowledge of her and in the process, she succumbed out of fear.

“A discreet investigation commenced in earnest, the victim was evacuated to the general hospital Ningi for medical examination and confirmed the penetration.

“During the investigation, the suspects voluntary confessed to the crime and some exhibits items were recovered from the suspects include two Dane-guns.

In another development, police in Ganjuwa LGA, arrested one Mato Yohannah of Jimbin Village for having a canal knowledge of (one Sara Ezra), not real name. The incident happened on August 24th last month While Yohannah was 27 years old, Sara Ezra, not real name, was a minor.

Both Yohannah and the minor came from Jimbin village in Ganjuwa LGA in the state.

Jimbin, during investigation,  confessed to have  raped the minor for the second time.”

Wakili noted that the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police has directed that the suspects be charged to court for prosecution.
