A female baby operator said that she has made at least N1.2 million from the selling three babies to her customers.
The operator, Christiana D'Ivoire Iyama made the confession during her arrest, by policemen attached to Agbado Divisional Headquarters, Ogun state.
Arrested alongside at her residence in No 4, Ibrahim Famuyiwa Street Agbado, Iyama said that she has sold three babies at N1.2million.
Arrested alongside her partner in crimes, Margaret Ogwu, she confessed to selling a baby for N400,000. Ogwu was a product of baby factory, as she and other girls were harboured by Christiana, who arranged men to impregnate them one after the other.
In a release issued by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, Iyana and Ogw were operating baby factory at the former's residence in Agbado area of Ogun state.

The statement further said that the two female baby factory operators were arrested on August 27th this year, following an information received by the police at the Agbado Divisional Headquarters.
According to Oyeyemi, Iyama was the principal operator in the business, in charge of hiring men, who impregnate the girls, with the hope of providing babies for sale.
He stated further that Iyama collected babies on delivery and sell them to her waiting buyers.
"Upon delivery by Margaret, the baby was taken by Iyama, who subsequently sell him or her for N400, 000.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that Margaret Ogwu was one of the girls harboured by Christiana D’ivoire to make babies.
“Christiana was said to have employed the service of a man to impregnate Margaret and collected the child on delivery, which she sold at the rate of N400, 000 to one of her customers.
“She also confessed to the police that she has sold up to three children from different women to her different customers,” SP Oyeyemi stated.
The Ogun police image-maker however said the state Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole has ordered that the case should be transfer to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
This, the Commissioner, said was done to assist in further investigation and prosecution of the case.
