Oando Plc Favour Ifeoluwa & Akinola Ajibade Oando Plc says it has completed and won the bid for the operatorship of oil block KON 13 in Angola. The firm which recently acquired Eni of Italy’s oil assets in Nigeria, said that the award of the oil block located in Angola’s onshore Kwanza Basin followed a competitive bidding process by the country’s oil and gas sector regulator. It further said hat the asset in which it owns 45 per cent participating interest, has estimated prospective resources of 770 to 1,100 million barrels of oil. A 25-year old man says anger made him to stoned his two children to death.
Known as Elisha Tari, the suspect confessed to the police that he was infuriated by the actions of his children and therefore threw stones to kill them.
While being paraded before the police in Adamawa State yesterday ( Monday), Tari confessed that he smoke Indian Hemp, drink alcohol and inhale stuff, adding that he once had a psychological problem.
Tari said: " I was once tied in chains some time ago. Neither do I take tramadol or any hard drugs. All I can say is that I have a psychological problem. My wife left her matrimonial home two months ago and all efforts to bring her back proved abortive.
Adding that: " I was cooking when the children approached. I asked them when their mother would return. I asked them to say 'God', but instead they said 'fire' and kept saying fire, fire instead of God. This made me furious, picked up stones and hit them on their heads to death.
While being paraded on Monday, the suspect confessed that he has a psychological problem and was once tied in chains some time ago.
Tari explained that an attempt to bring his wife and the mother of the deceased children, who left her matrimonial home for two months, proved abortive.
According to him, this infuriated him and led him to pick stones to hit the children.
I became irritated and provoked by their action as a result which I picked up stones and hit them on their heads to death,” Tari added
